Discussions on the Union Budget 2022

The Association organizes a speaker series on the Union Budget every year after the Union Budget of India is released. These speakers hold expertise in the field of economics, finance etc. They have performed notable research in their own field and have won various accolades for the same. This year, the expert speakers called for the session were: Following the same, a students panel discussion was also conducted in which students put forth their own views and opinions on the Union Budget 2022.

Vrittee

Vrittee is a cultural fest organized by the Department of Economics to expose the young talent of the department in the field of music, dance, theatre, art and to provide them with a platform to showcase their talents and recognise their exceptional skills apart from academia. With this fest, students are given an opportunity to explore the plethora of skills that they possess, which would, in turn, enhance the overall holistic development of the students and create an amicable environment for academic excellence. Vrittee brings with itself a plethora of competitions related to music, dance, art, drama, creative writing etc.

With a vision to recognise the exceptional talents of the department's alumni in the field of arts, music, films, dance, drama, modelling etc. The department honours an exceptional talent in the field of art and culture every year on the day of the fest. This also encourages the budding talents of the present students of the department and functions as a driving factor to help them explore their skills and talents.
